Overview of the webinar

Human Resources runs on documents, spreadsheets and repeatable processes, which makes it one of the functions that gains most from AI that can actually do the work. Claude Cowork is an AI agent from Anthropic that runs in the Claude desktop app. With permission to access selected folders, it reads resumes, policies, spreadsheets and PDFs, breaks an HR request into steps, and produces finished, review-ready outputs.

This session follows an HR team across the employee lifecycle. Participants will see Cowork summarise a folder of resumes against a job description into a structured comparison sheet for the recruiter to review, generate personalised offer letters in bulk from a template and an Excel list, build a role-specific onboarding plan and checklist, compare an updated policy with the previous version and draft an employee communication, and turn monthly headcount and attrition data into an HR dashboard report and leadership slides. The session also shows how to schedule a recurring HR report so it is ready without manual effort.

Participants will learn how connectors, plugins and skills extend Cowork into email, calendars and cloud drives, and how to capture HR templates and standards so every output stays consistent.

Because HR handles sensitive personal data and decisions that affect people’s careers, responsible use runs throughout: controlling access, protecting confidentiality, avoiding bias, and ensuring that hiring and people decisions always remain with humans.
