Irwin Dobrushin (Principal and Owner, IJD Environmental Health and Safety LLC ) has over 37 years of experience in the environmental, health and safety profession. Throughout his career, he has provided comprehensive health and safety support and services in a variety of business settings including consultation and industrial/manufacturing settings such as: steel and metal production, metal fabrication, organic and inorganic chemical manufacturing including the production of chlorine, chlorinated methanes, isocyanates, coal based chemicals, formaldehyde containing products, and nuclear fuel manufacturing.
His expertise extents to: ergonomic assessments, training and corrective actions; comprehensive practice of industrial hygiene; analysis of work related injury/illness data identification, causation, frequency of injury types, corrective actions etc. for multinational corporations; safety and industrial hygiene program/procedures development, review and implementation; safety and industrial hygiene compliance auditing; all aspects of safety/health program development and implementation; OSHA process safety management and EPA risk management programs; and hazardous waste disposal.
Mr. Dobrushin received his bachelor’s degree in biology and MPH from the University of Pittsburgh, and he is also a certified industrial hygienist, certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene.
